Are you a registered architect looking for a challenging new opportunity? This long-standing firm is looking to add to their team in Austin! They are looking for someone able to lead teams in the production of drawings and specifications, while handling any changes and resolving any issues during the process. They are looking for someone who is passionate about design and can integrate the design intentions with the built environment, and who can communicate the design with the client, as well as contractors and consultants.
Who you are:
- Registered Architect
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited 5-year program/school.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Proficient in Revit and knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Technology forward thinking and top-notch graphics skills.
- Strong, comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles/practices.
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
- Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post-occupancy.
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
- Acting as day-to-day client contact and have the most in-depth knowledge of all the project’s facets.
- Facilitating project presentations that deliver a consistent message to the client.
- Overseeing the documentation of a project, prioritizing and assigning tasks.
- Providing new ideas for architectural amenities and features to help our clients stand out.
- Coordinating with consultants on design and their deliverables.
- Giving insight to project teams on a variety of construction types to help clients adapt to market demands.
- Ensuring project teams meet deadlines and deliver consistent high-quality documents.
- Providing design and documentation support to the team as necessary.
